Claudia Schiffer is back in a big way and sometimes it feels like it’s 1995 all over again! I’m having a moment with the supermodels right now (more on that later) and I am loving seeing those gorgeous glamazons back on billboards, red carpets and magazine covers.

Today we have a very special treat as lovely London-based makeup artist Kay Montano has kindly given me a breakdown of this month’s German Vogue cover that she recently shot with Claudia Schiffer and Miles Aldridge. Complete with this season’s must-have accessory (if the latest Chanel Haute Couture show is anything to go by) a lace net on the eyes, Claudia has the most body-slammin’ red lip I’ve seen in ages. This is courtesy of the immaculate new Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick coming out later this year (and which already has me salivating).

Claudia Schiffer was radiant in a gorgeous Temperley dress on the red carpet last night, where she accompanied her husband, Matthew Vaughan, to the premiere of his new film, Kick-Ass.

Kay used mostly Myface cosmetics last night to create Claudia’s red carpet look. Myface is quite a new range to the market, but I like everything I’ve tried from the range – there are more reviews coming up!

Claudia Schiffer at the ELLE Style Awards, LondonIt’s been red-carpets a go-go in London this week, with the BAFTAS, London Fashion Week AND Last night’s ELLE Style awards. Celebrity makeup artist Kay Montano has been busier (and more fashionable) than the proverbial bee, last night buzzing to Claudia Schiffer’s London home and then onto Claire Danes to glam up two very gorgeous women.  She had her Chanel makeup kit fully stocked and ready to go – for what could be chicer for the red carpet than Chanel?

It was chaos yesterday at Harrods department store in London as Claudia Schiffer launched Alberta Ferretti’s signature fragrance. Claudia is having quite the renaissance lately fronting a number of campaigns and hitting covergirl status again, some 22 years after her debut as the original baby Bardot. She’s more gorgeous now than she ever was…

-         Chanel Smoky Eyes palette – the darkest grey from this softly blended under eye and into crease, and swept outwards into a soft and wide, well blended ‘tick’ shape

Claudia Schiffer In Red Lips in her Supermodel HeydayYesterday we were shooting French Vogue on a common in South London with the unbelievably gorgeous and iconic (in all senses of the word) Claudia Schiffer. The look of the day was red lips, and makeup artist Kay Montano gave Claudia carte blanche to choose her own red, as one of the few genuine supermodels she definitely knows which red suits her best. Her pick? NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella (a MakeupMole fave!) Also key to the look was beautiful skin and a curled lash, to keep the look modern and minimal.
